    从前，有位威严而英明的国王统治着遥远的威兰尼城。他的威严令人敬畏，他的智慧令他受人爱戴。

    那时，城中心有一口井，井水清冽透明，全城居民都从这口井中汲水饮用，国王和朝臣们也不例外，因为城里没有别的井了。

    一天晚上，大家都睡着了，一个女巫来到这个城市，向井里滴了七滴奇怪的液体，念道：“从这一刻起，凡是喝了井水的人都将变成疯子。”
