Q:If you had to stay in your current job, what would you spend more time on?Why?
A:If stay in my current job,Id like to gain more experience in labor negotiating. In particular,I'd like to help negotsolve grievances at the step4 level, and prepare grievances for arbitration. My background in all other areas of human resources is strong, and I believe labor relations experience will round out my skills so that I can have the opportunity to move up as a department head or a vice president in the future.
A:When I was a research assistant for the cable and wirelesspany back in nythree,at a time when we were experiencing rapid growth, our pricing analyst abruptly resigned for a better job.During the search to fill his position,I volunteered to help out with one of the major government projects.I worked considerable overtime, studied on my own,and helped bring the project to conclusion.I wasmended for my effort and was told Id be in line for the next opening in the pricing group.
